e-Deliveries is a service that will enable the sending, receiving, and storing of online correspondence.

It differs from regular email in that it is a trusted service, thus guaranteeing security and legal certainty. A message sent from an e-Delivery address has the same legal effect as a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.

e-Delivery services are provided exclusively by trusted service providers: Poczta Polska S.A., as a public provider, and commercial non-public providers registered in the registry maintained by the minister responsible for digitalization.

In accordance with the provisions of the Electronic Delivery Act, every entrepreneur has the option to submit an application for the creation of an e-Delivery address at any time.

The decision to start using e-Deliveries rests with the entrepreneur.

At the same time, we remind you that the Act specifies deadlines after which the use of an e-Delivery address will become mandatory for specific groups of entrepreneurs:

  1. Entrepreneurs registered in the National Court Register (KRS):
    Entrepreneurs registered in the KRS before January 1, 2025 are obliged to enter their e-Delivery address into the Electronic Address Database (BAE) by April 1, 2025, at the latest.
    From January 1, 2025, submitting an application for the creation of an e-Delivery address will become a mandatory element of the application for entry into the KRS.
  2. Entrepreneurs registered in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG):
    Entrepreneurs registered in CEIDG must set up an e-Delivery address by October 1, 2026.

The application for the creation of an e-Delivery address will become mandatory:

From January 1, 2025 – for applications for entry into CEIDG.
From July 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026 – for applications for changes to entries in CEIDG (applies to entrepreneurs registered in CEIDG before December 31, 2024).

e-Deliveries in a few steps

To be able to send and receive official correspondence, simply set up an e-Delivery address and mailbox. This can be done in a few simple steps by submitting an application via the mObywatel.gov.pl website. The Ministry of Digital Affairs emphasizes that it is worth doing this as soon as possible to start using the new system of communication with public offices from the beginning of January.

  1. Submit an application for the creation of an e-Delivery address on biznes.gov.pl
  2. The office will review the application substantively and formally and may request the rectification of formal deficiencies within 7 days
  3. The Minister of Digital Affairs will create the e-Delivery address and mailbox, of which you will be notified by email
  4. Activate your e-Delivery mailbox and address
  5. The Minister of Digital Affairs will enter the e-Delivery address into the Electronic Address Database (BAE)
